Superior’s a quick zip up Highway 36 from Boulder (and a straight shot to Denver, too). Nearly 25 percent of the town’s land is open space, which, from the west side of town, provides a panoramic perspective overlooking the Flatirons and dramatic peaks beyond. The town’s largest residential neighborhood is Rock Creek, with retail activity converging around Superior Marketplace’s big-box stores, soon to be joined by the forthcoming Downtown Superior development across the street.
